I am happy about the "new?" station, but 6250 is a bad choice for the EU.
After lunch, I have Pyongyang every day and a jaming/util or foreign carrier.

7055 LSB -today is another UA announcer - "we only speak Ukrainian on this frequency ...".
0950 UTC jamming by the phrase multiecho in the loop
1011 new phrase RU - "idite na chuj, ne słuszajte .."
I did the recording, but I don't have the option to attach the file.

Hi Sealord
- tonight I can not hear them at 80m, unless there is such unfavorable propagation from UA, but Polish HAMS are going very loud.
During daylight hours you will hear them well on the Web Kiwi SDR in PL, HU, CH ... I will try to record the file tomorrow and join the post. If someone understands in Russian, it is worth listening to the verbal war.

- 3731 LSB political chatter with hams - political agitation by an Ukrainian operator.
2240 UTC he meets his characteristic voice and subject. It is the same man as at 7050/7055 LSB in daylight hours. He is the host of this frequency another day and invites you to chat. They are called Stanisław Stanisławowicz. He said that Ukraine starts on the eastern border MW station Gołas Ukrainy (Voice of Ukraine). Its transmitter has S2 above other stations.
The Russians are disturbing by broadcasting music and humming .

- 3734 LSB works a Russian agitation station

Undoubtedly, this is the activity of propaganda services on both sides with the use of military transmitters - station power, lack of studio experience. But they are far from the professional and substantive activity of Radio Free Europ. They vulgarly insult the other side, accuse Fascism, ridicule and threaten death.
There is a real brutal war going on.
It seems to me that the short action of Radio Europe was the recognition of the area of interest.
I was surprised at the explosion of freedom and openness to Europe - it is still too early.

Thanks for the information from the RBS collection. I think that they intentionally modified the name of the station, because they knew Baltic Sea Radio. It is not their return.
Yes, BSR used SSB technique, which compared to AM gives higher band power, narrower signal spectrum and therefore less noise, the receiver has higher decoder sensitivity, there are less distortion of propagation and intermodulation. In summary, SSB provides a greater range than AM.
Disadvantages are the need for a receiver adapted to the SSB (less listeners) and limited audio bandwidth (there are few BC stations).
I apologize for the lecture, it may be useful to someone.

I wonder if it's the same radio as last year"Baltic Sea Radio".
A year ago they used seagulls voice as the calling jingle. It was a certain identification even in noises.
Additional they used new call sign " three different CW tones".
Before ending transsmision  they always playng songs by YL IT "Prima Balerina" and "Una Paloma Blanca"
I liked it very much and I remember, because it resembled the ID of the 70's iconic Radio Northsea.
Did this station use any of these characteristic recordings?
