Hi Group

I don't see an existing topic for that net so i'm creating one just in case

I have noticed a SSTV net on 7675.5 LSB for a long time now (since 2009 in my log)
It consists of a station transmitting maps, using Chromapix SSTV software

Most of my decodings are very poor due to low SNR here at my QTH, but i think i got some pics showing maps around the Caraibes. I also caught some CW opchat sometimes, as well as Japanese? speaking comms..

It would be great if anyone in North America can try to get better quality pics
the net is active from ~2000z to ~2300z it seems..

NB1: i also saw the net one day on 5525.0 LSB
NB2: To decode PD290 SSTV mode you have to use MMSSTV software

Hi

Those kind of signals do not need an enigma designator to me... but it's a different story..

It's 5042 LSB and i think it's close to FRA, ITA or SPA
It is just a TX site re-broadcasting its own signal, received remotely on his associated RX site (linked via microwave links or whatever)

I saw the noise produced on the LSB xmit last night, but tonight EU short skip is very bad, i almost not copying it at all from here
It re-broadcasts the 5040 AM carrier with a way higher signal strength, that prooves it's definitaly LSB (enhancing 2000Hz tone)

The net seems to be Portuguese Navy, callsign mentionned : "TRIDENT"

Hi everyone here

My first post on the forum will be to inaugurate that new board category, Thanks Chris ;-)

If anyone understands portuguese lingo, it sounds formal voice tfc to me, perhaps Navy, AF or more SAR
