A 50 vs 75 ohm mismatch won't cause the receiver to be deaf.
Been noticing an interesting affect when tuning around on the NDB band. If a strong local beacon is tuned in, it seems to pull up weaker signals on the same or adjacent channels. Is there a name for this or is it just my imagination.

how far either side of the centre freq (approximately) does the effect work?
Try them all, add a vertical to the mast as well as the other sloper or whatever it is you intend to add. I'd also have some antenna switching capabilities too.
My concern there is that NDB transmitters actually have tiny monkeys inside, tapping on the morse code key. Each monkey sends at a different rate, and sometimes the monkey gets tired and sends a little more slowly, other times it sends more quickly, maybe after it had a coffee.
