They got a nice signal in here tonight, nearly 1000 miles away, that 5kw doing a good job.
Nice to listen to a station that IDs a lot.

Have to null 50kw CKAC Montreal also on 730 and much closer to me but their signal
is mostly beamed away from me to the northeast.

Also a Fox Sports Radio station in the mix but unable to get an ID.

Wall to wall QRN this morning, S6-7 static crashes nearly continuous,
amazing that a line of T-storms moving across FL can wipe the whole band.

Well. finally got some drama...
just finished shoveling several tons of heavy wet global warming off my driveway.
Temp has been falling all night, down to 22F now, had to get the snow removed
before it freezes.  Couldn't even see my car, it looked like an igloo.
Temps forecast in low teens for highs and around zero for lows for the next several days.

Band was quite noisy this morning with many of the usual ON and QC Canadians
either very weak or missing entirely.  For example, 392 ML Malbaie QC usually very loud
here was being crushed by 391 DDP San Juan PR with relatively nearby 391 OO Oshawa ON
sounding a bit weaker than normal, and usually strong 396 YPH Port Harrison QC not heard.

Clear sky with just past full moon last night on the snowscape made for almost daylight conditions,
temp quickly fell and ended up at lowest for this season at 6F before sunrise,
quick rebound this morning under bright sunshine, up to 12F an hour after sunrise.

Temp bottomed out at 12F here just before sunrise...
finally able to get out on the ice.

was included in Radio-TV Experimenter Magazine.

Nice catch on this one from your location.
The Cincinnati station beams most of its power
away from you to protect the CA station.

Thanks for the reminder.
Unfortunately 6 meters is dead here.

Ganymede, located in the neutral zone, has long been a favorite haunt of freebooter and space rogue pinto vortando.
Especially appealing is its total lack of extradition treaties with other worlds.
Anyway, it seemed like an ideal location for a pirate FM station out of reach of regulation.
