The signal is thought to originate from the area of Gabon and has been observed in previous years but the purpose is unknown.

Starting to see some openings on 10 and 11.   Beacons coming in on 10, and on 11 I heard a QSO from CA to ID with traffic picking up across the 11m band.

At 0745 UTC it seems like the conversation is over; haven't heard anything for about a minute now.

Usually can't catch it out here in the Pacific Northwest.  Radio Habana Cuba @ 6000Khz is stomping on it a bit, but adjusting the filter cleaned it up enough to get in.
