22 Meter Band HiFER Beacons / 22m Beacons 29 Jul 2019

Heard AMA, ODX & WAS in the upper part of 22m around 1500 UTC. Central part sounds like a R2D2 convention. Strong "carrier" in the lower part, probably EH. Using the A-2515 so exact frequencies unknown.

Still going strong with the sweeping at 0030 UTC. Just a sweeping tone to us with analog receivers. Your screen caps looks like they're sending the aliens a road map.

I've monitored your list over the past week, had a really good signal from WWVH on 2500kc. Couldn't hear a one of them from the US east coast. Only heard a couple weak ones of the 4xyz variety, probably floating in the Atlantic pond. Summer t-storms will make it tough until later in the Fall.

Listening to HAARP on 8000 KHz ~ 0100 UTC & our friend HI makes an appearance on 7998 kHz.

HF Beacons / "051" CW 14100 KHz

Listening for the 14100 NCDFX beacons. The last few days someone comes on between 1600 & 1800 UTC sending "051" repeatedly in CW. Ham behaving badly, pirate beacon, secret message?

Today (March 25) it was in progress at 1655 & ended abruptly at 1710 UTC in mid-character.

I've been chasing them for years, ~125 in the log. Mostly around daybreak here on the east coast. Only logged a few new ones this winter, work schedule keeps getting in the way. Using a TS-520SE & 40m dipole so finding them is kind of like playing "whack-a-mole". Never tried to DF any so not sure where they come from.

MSK signal just appeared on 17.9kc at 0100 UTC. Assumed to be TACAMO.

Set up the Palomar VLF converter & TS-520SE to monitor 17.9kc. Lists call it "channel 1". Heard a fairly strong MSK signal show up from 0200 to 0214 UTC 08 March. Similar sounding to NAA, NAU, NRK, etc. Will see what else shows up while I build another Gyrator.
