I'm noting digital interference under their signal now on an SDR in Norway, but not so much on an SDR in Austria. I wonder if this is jamming or just the "rightful owner" using the frequency.

UPDATE: interference stopped at 1837 UTC.

But now it's back at 1845.

Hi Johnny!

At 1805 UTC, I have their carrier on 6284.96 KHz, with another carrier on 6285.17 KHz. The modulation is definitely associated with 6284.96 KHz: 1) both sidebands are symmetrical around 6284.96 and 2) tuning to 6285.17 USB results in "Mickey Mouse" modulation.

SINPO 22232 on an SDR in Norway.

1818 - The interfering carrier on 6285.17 KHz is gone.
1820 - 1940s music.

This is sort of weird.

The French intelligence agency's station, normally sends 4 or 5-letter encoded groups (as I remember it). This time they were sending s-l-o-w speed, IN THE CLEAR, normal French. Slow enough that I could copy it easily (except for the diacritical marks: é, è, ç, and the like). Turned on the CW decoder for a record of it and it indicated 7-8 WPM. It turns out that the decoder had the same trouble with the diacritical marks.

Transmission finished by 0733 UTC.
