Heard in Italy.

"CPN9" looking to establish contact before 1930 UTC. Seemingly established it at 1930 UTC then proceeded to send mixed letters and numbers (no firm group size, I I think) but I missed the ID of the station they were calling. After a long message at ~1931-1934 UTC, pretty quiet with occasional transmissions to reply to whoever they were in communication with.

CW was certainly sent "live" - the operator made mistakes and s/he would correct themselves with the universal repeated 5 or 6 dit symbol of "I goofed". Speed was ~10 WPM, which is just a little too fast for me to copy manually right now so missed large chunks of what was sent.

EDIT: Corrected the subject. It's not Coast FM. Ray - Feel free to combine with your thread.

Usual stuff. SINPO 23322 at 1825 UTC.

1829 - Bryan Adams.

"Zendpiraat" would mean "pirate transmission" in Dutch.

1827 - Weak in Italy. Accordian-based Schlager music with Dutch vocals. SINPO 13331.
1841 - Signal improving. Computerized ID and email in English.
1849 - Id and email auf Deutsch (in German). Confirmed ID and email address above.
1850+ Continuing with the Dutch schlager but with pirate radio theme.
1854 - ID in computerized English with email address spelled out in phonetics.
1907 - All the sudden the signal has increased a lot, like they turned on more power. SINPO 34333.
1917 - Transmitter off after a song.

890
Pretty weak in Italy. SINPO 12211. Barely audible at times.

1821 - Some discussion in US-accented English about "milliAmps" and something technical about radio.
1822 - The Beach Boys, "California Girls".
1835 - I have a carrier on my display and that is pretty much all I have. Too weak to hear any modulation at the moment.
2142 - Signal is improved but must be fading out for the evening at this point.

Not to take this thread back to the original topic  :D  but.....

I used TDoA early this morning and noted "direct hits" on the Chicago area with different sets of receivers. Not that there was any doubt.  :) That transmitter takes up 10+ KHz at a time.

892
I have them on 6284.96 KHz at 1913 UTC. SINPO 24322.
Announcement in English at 1916 UTC but fading is bad enough that I missed some of it.

893
1906 UTC - "The Things We Do For Love". SINPO 34223.
1940 UTC - ID announcement between songs. SINPO 24322.
2148 UTC - Black Sabbath, "Sweetleaf"

Signal is OK, SINPO 43333. Data UTE on 5835 KHz.

1904 UTC - Brian Ferry song.
Frequency noted as 5831.91 at 1928 UTC with a rock song with a Slavic-vocalist.
Appears that the TX is continuing to drift down in frequency - 5831.75 KHz at 1949 UTC.
2016 UTC - Now on 5832.16 KHz.
2150 UTC - Bob Marley, "Stir It Up". Drifted to 5832.05 KHz.

895
Johnny Cash doing U2's "One", but TX has been on and off intermittently from 2102 onward.

Pretty sure it was off the air permanently by 2120.

896
Dutch vocal music. No announcements so far. Mostly "schlager" music and the usual music you would hear on a Dutch MW station.

2128 - still on the air.
2230 - checked back and carrier is gone.

897
The usual stuff. Normal signal strength from them at this time of the evening.
