 8) Big signal on Sigma SDR, less direct 323 with fading. 5x9 plus on mass/ct SDR.
S5-7 some noise here in SC.
Nice pro audio noted. Audio spectrum at times to 5khz.

Playing Buddy Holly, hearing via Sigma SDR- This SDR has a loose antenna and signals cracking out.
Maybe the snow.. signal S6-- S9 Plus.. but antenna has  an intermitant.
Nice Rick Nelson, the guy had one sweet face and voice, 2303 UTC
Like the oldies man..wish the SDR owner would fix the connectors

 8) Joing QSO party late, but heard  cw and was slaughtering a turkey and couldn't get close enough to copy. That was followed by SSTV, and signal rose up enough for me to hear music. The CW came through very good, and I need recheck my merchant marine cw skills.
2325- Music in and out of noise.
2358- Cw copied QSL TU, which is better than FU. Also Humperdoo. Yes I still can copy Cows Whiskers.. a skill you neer lose if you gain it early on say 12-13 year of age.

My two cents.. what do you want? Well FM, in US FCC watches in cities, shortwave on clear channels, bcareful, use diffrent modes, bands.. times, not to excess, -- way to go.
Tx.. best would be probably more expensive, not impossible, just lets face it most peope use junk or their ham gear.
AM.. its ok, not good unless you have 100 watt old buzzard tx. Better in the frequency stability not an issue.
SSB wide band, if possible best efficiency, problem many people don't have what they need, first class digital rx with  a PC, these are available for 70-what ever dollars.. need a PC. These are great Rx for SSB, stable.
Tx SSB best, tricky old ham radios are worthless because of phase noise and music will sound like szit.
Needed a phase stable DDS radio. These are out there kits and ham rigs. With ham stuff YOU will need modify to get on a band. Never do it in ham bands, they are vicious in reporting, no sense of humor at all.
Just my two nickles and a dime.
