10/11 meters / Three digit identifier on CB
« on: June 14, 2019, 1722 UTC »
Now that the CB band is open most of the time I listen now and then.
I hear many operators using three digit identifiers. I did a quick search here and on the web but did not find anything explaining it. So I'm asking here...

Anybody know what the pinout is for one of these?

The pinout for RJ45 POE is easy to find.

Why not just operate in a SW broadcast band? You are broadcasting!

"... and all modern processors include all-pass (Phase scrambler) networks to remedy this."

Maybe all that modern dance mix k-pop crap sounds so bad to me because I don't have any radios with phase descramblers in them!    >:(

Firefox still works OK in Linux. It comes preinstalled in most distros. Switch your homepage to duckduckgo.com and you're all set. I have had my computer on public wifi 24/7 for years and had zero problems.    :)

It also lets you override web page colors witch is important for me.
