17880 KHZ in Arabic @ 1642 UTC  with YM announcer narrative introducing a couple Asian instrumental songs until 16:50 when YL announcer entered conversation with what sounded like a Arabic/Chinese language lesson

SINPO: 4-3-3-3-3.  Light QRN throughout.  Slight fade beginning 19:55

Very unseasonable weather here in Southern Wisconsin.  Last year we had 14 inches of snow on the ground by now.   This year you can't find a flake with a magnifying glass.  10 day forecast is for high temps in the mid to upper 40's. If it hits 50 I'm breaking out the humidor and celebrating with a Partagas Magnifico  bonus smoke!

Initial solid signal here @ 01:58  530 KHZ from Brampton, Ontario.   Jamaican music until the TOH station ID.  Then a short Reggae song before entering into a commercial block @ 02:02

Just reaffirming Rob's recommendation:   The CountyComm GP-5/SSB is a heckuva radio for $100.  The ETM (Easy Tuning Mode) works very well scanning and storing up to 100 stations automatically in temporary memory in each band.
