Its highly unlikely to be WHON. Their format/playlist is exactly in line what was recorded.

WHON is around 560 miles away at 114 W with a nighttime pattern as a blob to the south and Minneapolis is in a deep null.
KKIN has a non-directional nighttime pattern with 360 W at about 100 miles away.

However, this assumes both stations ran authorized power on the authorized pattern.

If WHON messed up and ran day power (500 W) on the day pattern, its still a blob to the south and Minneapolis in a null.

While listening now to 930 trying to pick out stations, heard music from the 70's & 80's, consistent with the format of the original station that Matt_B recorded. Got a clear ID of WFAT 102.7 "The Fat One" at 0121Z and 0129Z (21 Apr 2020). This station is in Battle Creek, MI with 1000W nighttime power with a huge bubble to the NW, which encompasses Minneapolis nicely. 102.7 being their translator (W274AQ). They have been ID'ing frequently, every few songs or so.

So back to the identity of the station recorded - It could be WFAT or KKIN, and I might say that order. I would actually put money on it being WFAT and not KKIN. But without an ID or something else unique (like a local news/traffic/weather report), its only going to be speculation.

A distant possibility:  WHON out of Richmond Indiana,  Low power but the format matches and its only 621 miles to your QTH.

Perhaps Pedro doesn't know that A20 has begun yet.

That's possible considering that their governance and economy are still back in the 1960's

Spinning the dial I ran across RHC @ 12:59 UTC just as they were signing off with a YL giving the station ID.  Very solid signal.   I can't recall ever picking them up on this frequency.

SINPO: 4-5-4.   Couldn't assess fading  as station QRT'd @ 12:59.   I only was a able to monitor for about 30 seconds before they went off the air.

I just finished a very good book entitled "THE SHADOW WAR' by Jim Sciutto.  The book covers the "hyper-wars",which are aggressive initiatives  undertaken and conducted by US adversaries that implement propaganda, proxy state warfare, election rigging, NGO manipulations, etc.   There is an excellent section of the book that covers both the surreptitious as well as moderately overt offensives against us in Space and our  heretofore pathetic attempts to refute their campaigns.
If you are into this labyrinthic and polymorphous aspect of foreign policy I strongly recommend this work.   The area analyzing the current ongoing Space Wars is, alone, worth the price of the book.
Below is Wiki's CV summary of the author's credentials:

James Ernest Sciutto (born March 10, 1970) is an anchor and Chief National Security Correspondent for CNN, reporting and providing analysis on all aspects of U.S. national security, including foreign policy, the military, terrorism, and the intelligence community, a position he took on in September 2013. From 2011 to 2013 he served as Chief of Staff to U.S. Ambassador Gary Locke at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing. He was formerly ABC News' Senior Foreign correspondent, based in London.[1] He is the author of Against Us: The New Face of America's Enemies in the Muslim World.[2] Jim Sciutto is currently an anchor on CNN Newsroom, based in New York City and Washington, DC

It's interesting how this is breaking down. Over 50 and it seems like you got the bakelite and and wooden boxes full of tubes Grandma didn't want to haul to Florida. Under that age you got solid state boxes with leather-rite exteriors that had all sorts of bands and nothing to hear.

And every hardware store had the compulsory tube tester to let you know that, once again, your 35W4 half-wave rectifier was shot.   Fun stuff back then though - my 1940 Mantola tuber is AM/SW but, of course, no FM.  Still works - I pulled in Radio Helliniki out of Avlis last week.

According to Wikipedia  (you can decide what its worth) here's the story:
The Curse of Rocky Colavito is a phenomenon that supposedly prevents the Cleveland Indians Major League Baseball (MLB) franchise from winning, be it the World Series, the American League (AL) pennant, reaching postseason play, or even getting into a pennant race. Its origin is traced back to the unpopular trade of right fielder Rocky Colavito to the Detroit Tigers for Harvey Kuenn in 1960. It was not claimed that Colavito placed the curse, and he has denied doing so. It is one of several curses believed to have stricken the city of Cleveland's major sports franchises for decades.
