Good signal via NA5B SDR in D.C. ... not audible at my place or any of the Western U.S. SDRs I just checked.

2221 UTC: "Polkarama!" by Weird Al
2222 UTC: OM ID with "Voice of Weird Al" into "Ebay"
2226 UTC: "The Weird Al Show Theme" then "Polka Power!"
2232 UTC: OM with ID and email addy of voiceofweirdal@gmail.com and said he's signing off.

Very strong via Washington, D.C., SDR ...

2137 UTC: "Don't Start Now" by Dua Lipa
2140 UTC: "Atmospherics: Listen to the Radio" by Tom Robinson
2143 UTC: Male, accented voice with history of starting a pirate station.
2146 UTC: Another recording with ID of Radio Waves International, then "All Over the World" by ELO
2151 UTC: OM with a French(?) accent introducing "My Number One" by Luv. I just checked, and this signal is just barely audible on the K9VD SDR across town from me out here.
2155 UTC: OM announcer with ID into "When I'm With You" by Sparks
2158 UTC: As "Love and Loneliness" by the Motors got started, the OM announcer noted we're listening to a "birthday party" broadcast
2202 UTC: "Controversy" by Prince
2205 UTC: Quick ID into a funk song I don't recognize ("Take You Higher"?)
2209 UTC: OM with ID and intro into "My Girl" cover
2213 UTC: ID again into "They All Run After the Carving Knife" by New Musik
2216 UTC: Accented OM talking about first shortwave broadcast 36 years ago, and this is the anniversary. Then an ID with birthday message.
2217 UTC: "Chacun Fait" by Chagrin D'Amour

Good signal, though with some fading, via NA5B SDR in D.C. ...

2113 UTC: "Any Way You Want It" by the Ramones
2114 UTC: "Chinese Rocks," also by the Ramones
2116 UTC: Radio Free Ramones ID and email address announced as radiofreeramones@gmail.com
2117 UTC: "Somebody Put Something in my Drink" by, of course, the Ramones
2120 UTC: Email address and ID again by male, then "Rock 'n' Roll Radio" by you-know-who
2123 UTC: Email addy announcement, ID again and then "Love Kills"
2126 UTC: "Sheena is a Punk Rocker" after ID announcement again: "You are listening to Radio Free Ramones." Just checked again and I can't hear this one way out here near Seattle, but it's audible via the Northern Utah SDR.
2128 UTC: "All Ramones, all the time on Radio Free Ramones" ID played during the song.
2129 UTC: "53rd & Third"
2131 UTC: "All Ramones, all the time" ID and then "Now I Wanna Sniff Some Glue"
2133 UTC: "Pinhead"
2136 UTC: ID twice, then "Commando," followed by "You Should Never Have Opened that Door"
2139 UTC: "Today Your Love, Tomorrow the World"

As a longtime fan who got to see the Ramones play live, this is a pirate with a playlist I can fully support!

Not audible out west here, so I just tuned at 2036 UTC in via Washington, D.C., SDR to find a good signal with a bit of fading.

Sounds like they're running a taped U.K. radio segment about listener entries for an "alternative top 30" list. Running snippets and jingles of Capital Radio recordings as of 2038 UTC. Capital Radio has a long, colorful history in London, including its start as a pirate.

2040 UTC: OM announcer giving RDI ID and email as radio.diana.international@proton.com just before playing a live version of Neil Young's "Cortez the Killer."

2053 UTC: YL with ID, followed by OM giving the email address again. Then mostly instrumental music that sounds like it's from a soundtrack. Sound bites amid the music like: "The demonstrators must depart from the Pentagon grounds by midnight."

2058 UTC: Off?

With local-ish KIXI down in the background, I heard this Lexington, Nebraska, station come up as a female announcer gave the weather forecast for the next week (sunny and 50s, which seems warm for Nebraska this time of year), then a recorded, male-voiced “KRVN” ID played. I heard bits and pieces of it amid the jumble (KIXI, KCMX, KWIP) in the following 20 minutes or so as the station played a story-telling program.

This runs 50 kW; the distance from me is about 1,204 miles. Not sure I’ve ever logged Nebraska before on mediumwave.

Listening directly on my receiver using just the whip antenna here in Lake Stevens, WA. Some SSB distortion on the music, but one of the stronger pirate signals I've heard here in a while ...

0008 UTC: “Wishing and Waiting for Love” by Fred Rich and his Orchestra
0011 UTC: “Wait ‘Til it Happens to You” by Earl Hines
0014 UTC: "Waitin' for the Train" by Kitty Kallen
0022 UTC: Simple OM "Wolverine ID," repeated after a few more songs at 0028 UTC. Just listening now to these songs on the "wait" theme. There's a bit more fading now on the signal, but it's not bad out here.

(If you want to listen via SDR, the Northern Utah SDR is getting a great signal. K9VD near me also is getting it.)

847
Fair out here directly in Lake Stevens, Washington, at the peaks and VERY good via the Northern Utah SDR ...

0114 UTC: “Mercury Blues” by Steve Miller Band
0116 UTC: SSTV of nice red classic car
0118 UTC: “Stray Cat Strut” by Stray Cats
0121 UTC: SSTV IDing this as Skippy (aka "Damn Skippy")
0123 UTC: "Dead Man's Party" by Oingo Boingo
0127 UTC: SSTV
0129 UTC: "Freeze Frame" by J Geils Band
Signal's getting a bit rough now.
0133 UTC: SSTV
0136 UTC: Just a trace of the music being heard either locally or via the SDR.

Utility / 9VA-40 Singapore 6676 USB 1720 UTC 14 Nov 2019

On a decent morning for VOLMET signals out of Asia, I heard Singapore come on at 1720 UTC with a male voice giving weather conditions in English. Poor overall against a healthy noise floor, but audible at the peaks until 1725 UTC. It was just barely audible at times in the 1750 UTC and 1820 UTC time slots. Received on my radio with just the whip antenna.

HSD out of Bangkok also was audible on this frequency during those hours with a slightly better signal than Singapore.

849
Just tuned in at 2354 UTC, and the signal's fair to good via the Northern Kentucky SDR. Almost no signal on the D.C.-area SDRs I checked, and no sign of a signal out west here.

I didn't hear anything definitively audible on 6679 this morning, though I tried. I wasn't too impressed with overall conditions, though I'm still stuck in temporary housing with a pitiful antenna compared to my longwire one at our normal house on the other side of Lake Stevens (maybe only a month until we can move back in!).

Heard HSD at 1643-1647 UTC and 1740-1745 UTC on Nov. 12, 2019. The transmission ended at 1645 and 1745 UTC, followed by a very faint voice at noise level, presumably the Pakistan VOLMET on the same frequency. Reception was poor to fair on the peaks, with lots of daytime noise.

852
Hearing some kind of industrial-like music, then sound clips and audio chaos as of 0350 UTC via the Burke, Virginia, SDR. Fair at the peaks, but considerable hiss and noise in the background during fades.

North American Shortwave Pirate / Re: unid, 6950 usb, 0007 utc, 11 Nov
« on: November 11, 2019, 0020 UTC »
This was playing a Weird Al song or two, now playing "Be Careful With a Fool" by Johnny Winter as of 0018 UTC. Fair signal via Washington, D.C., SDR, though with some fading.

0023 UTC: OM identified the just-played songs and then played some monologue from "Voice of Subgenius."

0030 UTC: More noise on the frequency's drowning out the talking I'm hearing.

0107 UTC: Host giving address for “The Hour of Slack,” with dogs in the background. Then NPR news parody, followed at 0108 UTC by another NPR news parody about Ukraine and Trump. Then a collection of chaotic sounds and clips.

0110 UTC: Parody of “We Didn’t Start the Fire” mentioning Trump-related scandals.

Thanks for the added info, Matt. And it's getting weird that people I've met in real life are now posting here! :)
