The "Dog Fish Mafia" were back tonight. This time on 6321.8 USB at around 0011z on 6/4/2012. This was the same crew on 6925 USB yesterday. They were all (accented) English tonight. Here's a clip:

The 6925 USB crew were back around 1615z. I caught the tail end of their conversation, in English.

Warning: colorful language. This is distinctly not the crew that was on 6959.5 earlier. The 6959.5 guys are from the Boston area. These guys, I'm not sure where they are based out of.

Might be a reference to the internet meme "3 guys 1 hammer".

Highly recommend you don't Google this and if you do I highly recommend you don't watch the associated video.

I heard the English speakings guys on 6959.5 USB. The accents were highly suggestive of boats out of Gloucester, Massachusetts or possibly Portsmouth, New Hampshire or coastal Maine. The accents change as you go up though, and these guys sounded like Gloucester guys to me. I know the accent well. We've heard similar operations before.

Respectable S9 signal here tonight, but a good amount of summer static crashes. British announcer with various pop tunes.

WPON ID at 2343z, after a George Carlin bit. About S7-S8 in the Boston burbs.

1196
S9 in Boston at 0210z.

1197
Caught the tail end of the USB QSO between Benway and Renegade. Benway was strapping it up to about S9+30 and Renegade was about S7. Benway ended the QSO around 2343z and switched to AM where he did some brief testing, then started the broadcast currently underway.

1198
Also peaking at S9 in Boston. "Hey You" cover starting at 1902z.

For anyone recording, there was an ID around 2049z. It was quite muffled as hammarhead noted. I did hear the operator say "this is the maiden broadcast of..." but that was about all I could make out. Then it seemed like the clips started to repeat.
