S9+20 at log-off with email address and then into a dub track.

Edit: then into Undercover Radio at 0053 UTC?

737
Also S9+10 here in the Boston burbs, some fading, at 1306 UTC with a death metal kind of song.

738
Very good S9+10 signal into the Boston burbs tonight at 0057 UTC. Spacey chill-out music and then talk.

General Radio Discussion / Re: Wayne Green

I met him once at one of the New England ham radio flea markets. I think Deerfield or Rochester. He had a table set up for recruiting new hams and to sell books or magazines. He virtually wouldn't let me past his table, because I was younger, and he was really into getting younger hams into the hobby. But, I already had my ticket. I think he did lecture me on trying to use more CW though. We chatted for a while, and he seemed like a decent guy.

I seem to remember the 14.313 crew had an axe to grind with Wayne for some years.

S9+ here at 0018 UTC (9/19). Not sure if maybe the audio is a little low. Death metal type tune.

741
I tuned in just as Radio Azteca was signing off at 1640 UTC. Caught Bram Stoker announcing this was program #6, and then off with interval horns. Very nice S9+10 signal.

742
QSY'd to 6920. Signal is S1, peaks to S2.

743
Radio Azteca active on 6920 KHz AM with mashup of various audio bits, IDs, etc. Good S9 signal but high noise and some peskie.

S9+20 with a remix of Daft Punk's "Get Lucky" at 2336 UTC. Then ID by Liquid Todd. Pretty sure Liquid Todd was the guy that had a weekend techno show on WFNX in Boston before he moved to NYC, and was busted on some kind of drug charge if memory serves me. In any event, probably a relay off XM/Sirius.

745
Borderhunter with a very nice S9+5 signal here on 6295 KHz AM! Thanks!!

Good S8, peaking S9 signal here on the SDR. Joy Division at 0026 UTC. OM and YL Metro announcers at 0029 UTC talking about the music selections. Some peskie QRM making copy of the announcements (which seem lower in audio) difficult. It might help them to ID a little more often during their banter between songs.

747
Way down in the noise on all radios, all antennas. Peaks to S3, maybe S4, bust mostly S1. Tough copy.

748
Caught the tail end of the SSTV on 6935 USB, which was a very nice S9+10. I don't have SSTV decode yet on my SDR workstation, though.

749
Radio Free Whatever ID at 0133 and then into Superdrag. Nice S9+10 signal.

750
ID and banter at 2238 UTC. Extremely strong S9+20 signal with nice audio for SSB.
