00:50 UTC - I observed a few seconds of a carrier up then down; I can also hear a UTE faint in the background on this frequency tonight;

00:57 UTC - BallSmacker Radio carrier is up; S9 ~ +10; 8 kHz wide;
00:58 UTC - Interval signal;
01:00 UTC - Broadcast begins;
02:42 UTC - SSTV;
02:44 UTC - Interval signal;
02:45 UTC - End of broadcast;
03:08 UTC - Carrier off.

Thank you for the show. Conditions were good and that new transmitter sounded good tonight at 8 kHz. Very low noise.

Tuned in at 0102 utc on Normal IL sdr with fair S7 to S9+ signal, hear pop/rock tunes from 1960's and 1970's, nice variety of songs with the word "thing" in them, at 0241 utc SSTV/FAX, sign off announcement, piano IS but carrier stayed on past 0302 utc so I emailed them to say carrier still on, carrier finally off at 0308 utc.

Kinda hard to believe, but I'm hearing Ballsmacker with a nice signal on an old Magnavox 8443 boombox. I don't even have an external antenna or the whip antenna extended. I was switching back'n'forth between SW1 & SW2 bands to see if I could get the dirty contacts clear for SW2 (not yet). Switched back to SW1, & the band went out again, so I was tuning up through the band and I heard a station with '60s rock (evidently the Beatles' song) coming in with a really nice signal. Waited a bit & had 100% clear copy on the ID with info on the Ballsmacker website.

Back when I started listening for pirates, I heard KPRC, WDX, and maybe another station or two above the AM band on a GE boombox, but this is the 1st SW pirate that I've heard on one.
