KPR "Rock the Rockies" 6925 USB
« on: April 25, 2009, 1651 UTC »
4/25/09, 6925 USB, 1540 UTC: C&W musc, "Yesterday When I Was Young" (Roy Clarke or Glen Campbell?)
1553z: KPR ID w/ distinctive laugh and "As we rock the Rockies" slogan
1634z: Possible KPR ID after music, tough to be sure due to signal drift to below 6925, voice pitch was off

SINPO - 21321, pitch sounds a little warbly, possibly freq drift, some fades, QRN not bad but tough copy through heavy white noise, probably local RFI. Just strong enough to copy familiar songs.

(N. Central TX - Palstar R30C w/ indoor fugloop)
That li'l ol' DXer from Texas
Unpleasant Frequencies Crew
Al: Palstar R30C & various antennae
Snoopy: Sony ICF-2010
Roger: Magnavox D2935
(Off-air recordings.)
