Faint reception, Arabic service per their web site.  First reception of AIR in many months.

1908 OM talking at noise floor, occasional peaks with good reception.
1925 Reception staying consistently over noise floor with verygood peaks but I believe sign off is in 5 minutes
1926 Reception now very good, OM talking at length
1928 Subcontinent music
1929 Off mid-song

To my knowledge, the only English services are 1430-1445 and 1530-1545 utc on 5040 am, non-directional from Jeypore with 50,000 watts.

I don’t think AIR has any English service unfortunately. It is not listed in their schedule at all. The schedule below is from the British DX Club.

Songs are identified with Shazam if needed. I usually use KiwiSDR receivers. Reception from my QTH is using an SDRPlay RSP1A for SWL with a 40 meter band Inverted V at 40 feet. Kenwood TS-570D for ham use.

AIR Jeypore is a domestic broadcaster, would not show on an external listing.  Possible pick up on SDR.

The external schedule in the link below was updated last month and includes a couple of other bands:

AIR Jeypore shut off shortwave on December 31 2021 along with AIR Srinagar. Currently only AIR Leh (which as no English program) and the external service are left on shortwave. That schedule shows no AIR Jeypore or other English programs. According to a schedule on another website from when AIR Jeypore was on shortwave it should be on right now. I checked on the Bengaluru, India KiwiSDR and found no trace of any signal on 5040. Not even a carrier.
