RTTY ~4984 kHz 0330z
« on: March 07, 2013, 0350 UTC »
Hearing RTTY (I assume) around 4984 kHz, USB. I understand this is within a broadcast band, so this shouldn't be here. Does anyone know what this is?

Heard it last couple nights very weakly.

Could you decode it?

Peace!

4850 - 4995 is Broadcast + fixed + Land Mobile, so a utility station isn't necessarily out of place here.

Russian diplo/Ru. Navy (Black Sea) Coming in to NH now at S9+20. Trying to decode... Will post more later if successful.
Currently "decoding" at 850Hz/75.0 baud rate/2000Hz Center freq.
Gettling a lot of letters, with no special characters or numbers, so that tells me that maybe I'm doing something right. The letters, however, are unintelligible or...encrypted...
Here have a look...
