When I sold my house and retired, I moved back to the old family homestead, next door to the Church I was baptized and confirmed at. Funny thing about that....I strayed from the flock when I was 15 years old and ran with the wolves for the next 52 years. I'm 67 now and it makes me wonder. Hey, those last 5 words would make a good line in an epic rock song!

You can't scare me. I ain't no Cathylick.

In the 18th Century, Protestants had Bach and Handel, Catholics had pretty much everyone else. And Bach went ahead and wrote a Mass anyway, probably the greatest one ever. Wha'choo gonna do, those four walls and a pulpit just didn't stimulate the imagination that much.

6935 USB
0300z classical choral music. Good signal, not much fading, low atmospheric noise, moderate local RFI. Was S4 peaks over almost zero QRN.
0350z Faded to S2, still almost zero QRN so still clearly audible.
0405z Ave Maria, woman singer
0413z MIX Radio ID

In the backyard with the Sony portable, a bit of wire in the grass, classical music in one ear, usual neighborhood nightly gunfight down the street in the other ear. Joys of urban living.
