I'm not totally sure if this is a pirate broadcast, but given the total lack of commercials, inane DJs and the interesting programming and music leads me to believe so. Haven't heard a station ID yet and its been 45 minutes. Currently playing Sgt Peppers Lonely hearts club.

If the carrier centered around 6850.7 or .8, it was probably MAC Shortwave.  Heard 'em briefly during this time slot.  If you heard a kid doing the wacky laugh that was probably Ultraman, who sometimes runs the show after Dr. Who and Paul Starr.

Yup that definintley describes what I heard. Is MAC Shortwave legit then or are they pirate? I should have probably been able to ID them when the kid was saying email us at macshortwave@yahoo.com every 5 minutes.
