Songs are identified with Shazam if needed. I usually use KiwiSDR receivers. Reception from my QTH is using an SDRPlay RSP1A for SWL with a 40 meter band Inverted V at 40 feet. Kenwood TS-570D for ham use.

Copying with a nice SIO 444 signal in Colorado at 1645 UTC. I heard a bit of a program if not station ID but because of background noise here and the fact music was also part of the broadcast, I couldn't make it all out. Radio Vaticana has this frequency at times too so that's a possibility. Will see if they say something at the top of the hour.

The Vatican and Ulster Presbyterians on the same frequency? This could get interesting come next year's Marching Season. I remember the Rev. Ian Paisley's fundraising tours hitting the local Churches to raise money for the Protestant cause in Ulster. He made Brother Stair seem like the voice of reason. I wonder if Ian's still alive? The Welsh comedian David Allen made a pile on Ian Paisley jokes on his old TV show.

17790 AM 24 Oct 2022

2222 Surprisingly good reception considering frequency, beam, and that it is a half hour past sunset here.  Supreme Master TV with OM and YL chatting back and forth.

I can understand the change in frequency, but the change in beam direction (from Africa to Latin America) seems counterintuitive for show ostensibly produced for an African audience.

Protestant Evangelical Christianity is blowing up in Latin America. As the Latino population increased here, they began crowding the pews of the various Baptist sects and others like them.

Yeah, I know all about that. Good thing in some respects because it shakes the iron grip of the Catholic Church. But still, an English language program supposedly for Africa.... which brings up the question of why aren't there more Spanish language evangelical stations. WEWN has that one right. Chalk up the Catholics for knowing their azimuth.
