Hi Chris,

Some information heard during the transmission and then try to check via internet.
Bruff announced some remberance for upcoming weeks on various cementeries in the parish, Balinteer announced All Souls mass times for all 3 churches in the parish, and the other two had prayers for persons recently died which can be checked on rip.ie.

O/T I used to live near Ballinteer.
There is a list somewhere on the net which gives the frequencies of many of the churches but many of them share the same channels.

Yes, mine.  :D  http://udxf.nl/WPAS-List-February-2016.pdf
All of them identified as mentioned above by me and some friends in Finland. But last update was in 2016, as there was no reception here since then until last weekend.

Yup, that's the list  :)
Is one of your friends in Finland named Harri?
If so, I very nearly met him many years ago when he visted some pirate friends of mine not far from the aforementioned Ballinteer.

UK FM CB Channels 1-40 are 27601.25 FM to 27991.25 FM (straight 10 kHz sequence, usually shorted to 27601 FM to 27991 FM).
WPAS Channels LW01 to LW40 match the UK FM band plan (FM mode or AM mode are allowed, but all users appear to use FM on the UK FM channels for obvious reasons)
WPAS Channels UW01 to UW40 are 27605 to 27995 (straight 10 kHz sequence).  27.605 MHz to 27.995 MHz - AM and FM permitted.
The CEPT/EU/EC "mid band" (FCC) CB channels are also allowed - 26965-27405 for a total of 120 channels.  Since the LW01-LW40 (UK FM Channel 1-40) and UW01-UW40 channels are only 3.75 kHz apart...the offset is not enough for nearby transmitters...but it is enough offset for distant transmitters running FM due to the capture effect.

Irish church parish radio signals coming in nicely right now at 1157 UTC:

27601 FM - frequency 27601.25 kHz FM 27.60125 MHz FM - UK FM CB Channel 1 / CADS WPAS Channel LW01
27641 FM - barely readable at 1159 UTC, but can hear music down in the noise UK FM CB Channel 5 / LW05
27651 FM - frequency 27651.12 kHz 27.651.12 MHz - very strong signal SIO 444 - UK FM CB Channel 6 or CADS WPAS Channel UW06
27661 FM - frequency 27661.3 kHz 27.661.3 MHz - UK FM CB Channel 7 or CADS WPAS Channel LW07
27681 FM - frequency 27681.35 kHz 27.681.3 MHz - UK FM CB Channel 9 or CADS WPAS Channel LW09- strong singing heard at 1200 UTC - heavy fading

Several additional signals coming in at 1200 UTC, including

27611 FM, 27621 FM, 27711 FM, 27721 FM, 27731 FM, 27771 FM, 27801 FM, 27881 FM, 27991 FM

Also strong FM signals on 27605 FM, 27608 FM or 27609 FM?

1207 UTC - several signals on the 27.6 MHz to 28 MHz region now coming in nicely. some fading

Hearing another parish on 27315 FM at 1215 UTC, still going at 1223 UTC - CB Channel 31 FM 27.315 MHz FM 27.315 FM
At 1224 UTC, 27681 FM 27.68125 MHz coming in much stronger - "a reminder that everything...comes to an end"...checked 27601 FM, signal barely readable at 1224 UTC/1225 UTC
