Identify Garmin RINO data mode

What software would you use to identify the mode Garmin RINO radios are using to transmit position data? I prefer Linux, but other people interested in this use Windows and Ios products.

I dropped a few searches and skimmed some pages. Apparently it is a MSK format with a 600 or maybe 1200 baud rate. Encoding seems proprietary, and that is about as far as I got down the rabbit hole.

Xastir has a way to access RINO GPS data for for APRS use, but that means needing a serial connection to a receiving RINO radio.

Thank you for this info. I believe by law they must us PSk, AFSK, or FSK. Though that is in America, and they may have used another mode in other parts of the world for the same reason. I am going to give Xaster a try.
