Tuned in at 0011 utc on Traverse City MI sdr with fair/poor S9 to S9+10 signal, slightly distorted audio, old CBS news article about DB Cooper, unid music, at 0016 utc switched to Champaign IL sdr with weak S3 signal, at 0018 switched to Peoria IL sdr with weak S7 signal then stn left air.

From recording while I was eating Thanksgiving dinner: 2334 3 SSTV of wanted poster (presumably DB Cooper), "Radar Love", Intro. to Walter Chronkite giving a report of the hijacking of the aircraft DB Cooper took, country song then a couple of more rock / pop style songs (in a fade, so can't ID), 0000 dialogue between YL & OM drama - still not comprehensible), "The Ballad of DB Cooper" - Chuck Brodsky, into a monologue about stories, CBS tones and Evening news with Walter Chronkite with item on hyjacking of airliner and DB Cooper parachuting out into local news tag, "The Ballad of DB Coper" - Miriam Stone which fades out and broadcast presumably ends.

Fading in and out - inaudible to fair.

I think he died landing, maybe got stuck in a tree and died up there then his remains fell and were eaten, why would he leave 6K $??

That's always been my attitude towards him, Chris. In the Eastern mts. of my home state, they trained pilots and crews of bombers for potential action in Bavaria and mountainous areas of Central Europe. They lost planes by the dozens in those hilly forests training those crews. None of those planes or crews have been recovered in nearly 80 years, and they had flight plans for all of them. Those tall evergreen forests swallow men and machines as soon as they hit the canopy. I figure what's left of Cooper is impaled in the second story of a spruce, his bones part of a buzzard's nest.
