I never knew why, but Buddy Guy would turn up here about twice a year with Aerosmith and Foghat. I think he did it to make them look bad, because it sure worked? He pulled the same trick on Eric Clapton, who was foolish enough to ask the crowd to quiet down so they could hear him play. After Buddy Guy, all you could hear was ringing in your ears.

All of those old Stateside players had started out in shoebox clubs where being loud and acting wild got you noticed. "Ladies and Gentlemen could you please be quiet?", got you ran out of the building.
