Songs are identified with Shazam if needed. I usually use KiwiSDR receivers. Reception from my QTH is using an SDRPlay RSP1A for SWL with a 40 meter band Inverted V at 40 feet. Kenwood TS-570D for ham use.

No way to upload directly, attachments disabled. I suggest you try to follow these instructions exactly and it should work:

1. Go to https://imgbb.com/
2. Click on the blue "start uploading" button.
3. Upload an image
4. Select “BBCode full linked” under the “Embed codes”
5. Copy the link
6. Paste in link in your post

Scroll down to the part that says "BBCode" under "Full image (linked)" and copy and paste that in your post. That is what I have done, now you can see the image in my post.

I don't know but this seems like such a convoluted way of getting images to any users that are on this board. Why can't a member upload a picture file DIRECTLY into the post ???

This saves space on the servers at the HFU. It is not great, but it works.

I typically use https://imgur.com/ for hosting pics. No accounts or fees needed if you do not mind the occasional advertisement.

I used to be the community administrator - mostly policy and moderation lead - of a large tech forum with 1M+ accounts. We allowed pic attachments plus even had a photo board, but pics can consume many magnitudes of storage space and bandwidth more than text. Real-world admin, hosting, maintenance, and software costs can add up fast.

We can already hugely thank Chris for not loading down the site with lots of annoying ads or needing paid memberships here.

Also, admittedly it is only a few dollars each time, but I do try to occasionally click and use the donate button.
