I have a strong blues station at S9 here in Central Wisconsin. Captain Morgan Shortwave ID with Twilight Zone Theme at 0201 UTC. ID again at 0211 UTC then off. Strongest AM signal from Captain Morgan Shortwave I've received so far.

Tuned in at 0155 on Barrington Hills IL sdr with fair S7 to S9 signal, blues and urban contemporary music sung by woman, some deep fading, switched to Traverse City MI sdr with fair S9 to S9+20 signal, distorted audio, blues tune sung by man, Capt Morgan ID, song: "1 scotch 1 bourbon 1 beer", switched
back to Barrington Hills IL sdr at 0212 due to deep fade, end of tune, Capt Morgan ID then off air. Nice tunes, thanks.

Drake R8, Kenwood R-2000, Panasonic RF-4900, Sony 2010, Realistic DX440, Grundig Satellit 500, 7mhz backyard dipole, Mt Prospect, IL 20miles (32km) NW of downtown Chicago. I have been using online receivers because of strong data hash interference in my neighborhood that I believe is caused by Uverse squeezing up to 100mb/sec through ordinary pairs of wires. I don't have Uverse but neighbors do. williamhassig@yahoo.com
