Tuned in at 0130 utc on Traverse City MI sdr with fair S9 signal, C&W tune, DJ said leaving air now.
Drake R8, Kenwood R-2000, Panasonic RF-4900, Sony 2010, Realistic DX440, Grundig Satellit 500, 7mhz backyard dipole, Mt Prospect, IL 20miles (32km) NW of downtown Chicago. I have been using online receivers because of strong data hash interference in my neighborhood that I believe is caused by Uverse squeezing up to 100mb/sec through ordinary pairs of wires. I don't have Uverse but neighbors do. williamhassig@yahoo.com

Red's early duo's with Lefty Frizzle were excellent, and his early solo stuff like his homage to Coors,"Colorado Kool-Aide" wasn't bad, but "Teddy Bear" and it's follow-up's were beyond the pale. Aunt Mamie's boy went around the bend with that stuff.

He died crashing his van in Nashville after suffering an apparent seizure. Cousin Red went too far with those maudlin "Teddy Bear" songs and the Lord put a stop to it.

That'll be a thousand bucks for playing my cousin's song without permission, Outhouse, by the Code of The Hills.

Songs are identified with Shazam if needed. I usually use KiwiSDR receivers. Reception from my QTH is using an SDRPlay RSP1A for SWL with a 40 meter band Inverted V at 40 feet. Kenwood TS-570D for ham use.

Somebody has to wise you guy's up. Besides, I retired from pirating in 2010. Now, pay up! It will make a nice prize for next year's "Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer" marathon. 24 hours of Elmo and Patsy.

That sounds like country DJ, C.W. McCall's "Convoy", Skip. It was a big hit in 1973/4, when the speed limit was cut down to 55 mph and people learned what truckers had been using their CB's for. That's the year the FCC tossed the requirement for CB licenses out the window as everybody and their brother had the things.
