Fess up to the boneheads blabbing about crypto radio relay?  ::)

I can’t believe how much money was wasted on helicopters or forestry dummies hiking up steep slopes in the snow.

That video is going to end up giving a lot of hams some inspiration to go put up repeaters. Hopefully they wipe their fingerprints off.

Most anything the press reports on (especially anything technical) is wrong. This is a good example.

And how dare the public put up an antenna on public land without permission.

This cannot stand!           /s

It's me and Marie's brother, Donnie. We transmit his early 70's hit "Puppy Love" to repel Sasquatches. So far it's working.

Back in the late 70's and early 80's weed growers used steal solar panels to power off the grid grow shacks. Generators were too noisy. On public land, to boot, the scofflaws!

NFS and the State of Kentucky warn people to stay out of the backwoods of the Daniel Boone National Forest during the growing season, it's too dangerous.

The weed growers don't care who they belong to, the govt., the power company, cellphone companies, repeaters, etc... if they're out in the middle of nowhere, they'll take them, then tell their tweaker relatives where the leftover scrap metal is. Everybody benefits.
