SINPO=14211

149- Definitely hearing music, but can't copy enough to ID it. Can make out song changes due to variations in beat and tone, but not enough to ID yet.
All reception from this location, radio and antenna.
QTH New Hampshire (70 miles north of Boston).
Tecsun S-8800 and Kenwood R-2000, with about 135 feet of wire thrown up in the trees.

A couple of songs popped up in the noise —
“Angie Baby” (Helen Reddy) “goodbye “ (Elton John) and (Exile) “I wanna kiss you all over”

Mostly poor to poor-fair at the Michigan Area Radio Enthusiasts DXpedition in Brighton — using my SPR-4 and 450 feet of wire ….(2+5332+) —Zichi DXp
DXing *either* from:
MI -- South Central Lower Michigan with a 25 m randomwire and a LOT of local noise!
or
MI2 -- the tip of Michigan's Thumb with a 100 metre longwire and much quieter conditions.  Radios can be either an SPR-4 or IC-R71A or SDRplay

S-9 on an SDR in the Rockies. "I Want To Touch You All Over" and into a funk number. Best in narrow AM.

Starting to fade badly a 2:00 UTC. Time to head to California to visit Uncle Jed.

0210 UTC Threshold signal here since 0200 UTC. No fade ups long enough to ID the tunes.
0211 UTC Somebody came up briefly over the signal with "Fortunate Son"-CCR....I still have the carrier

Songs are identified with Shazam if needed. I usually use KiwiSDR receivers. Reception from my QTH is using an SDRPlay RSP1A for SWL with a 40 meter band Inverted V at 40 feet. Kenwood TS-570D for ham use.

Nice quiet signal at the huntin' and fishin' cabin at Mount Shasta. No pesky Bigfoots or Space Aliens around either. Granny's double barrel 12 gauge has thinned them out. S-9 plus signal. Easy listening music, woman fronting an orchestra.

For you folks trying to hear this one, try the West Coast SDR's. Excellent copy. Some kind of id, Radio 45.
