0056 - Bag pipe and drum music audible on K1VL SDR in Vermont. Frequency = 6954.93 KHz.
0105 - Pipe and drums in a room with solid walls and floor so there is a sharp echo in the room.
0109 - I can hear what sounds like talking between songs but it was too low and muffled to be intelligible.
0109 - Frequency 6954.83 KHz.
0116 - ID and clear announcements. "Cheers everybody and enjoy your Saturday night. Byeee." TX off.   (It's Friday night.)

Recording of the last few moments. You have some RF getting into your microphone circuit, my friend.

I don't STRETCH the truth.

"Every minute I spend in this room, my signal gets weaker.
Every minute Charlie squats in the bush, his signal gets stronger."

Tuned in at 0109 utc on Barrington Hills IL sdr with weak S9 signal, hear bagpipes which really cut through the noise, off at 0117 utc after short announcement that I couldn't understand.

Drake R8, Kenwood R-2000, Panasonic RF-4900, Sony 2010, Realistic DX440, Grundig Satellit 500, 7mhz backyard dipole, Mt Prospect, IL 20miles (32km) NW of downtown Chicago. I have been using online receivers because of strong data hash interference in my neighborhood that I believe is caused by Uverse squeezing up to 100mb/sec through ordinary pairs of wires. I don't have Uverse but neighbors do. williamhassig@yahoo.com

Bagpipes, eh? I thought they were swinging cat's by the tail? At least they had the decency to do it in AM. Amplified bagpipe music was how Bush the First got Manuel Noriega to come out of the Vatican Embassy in Panama after a couple of days.
