Red Mercury Labs 6.925 USB 0343Z 04-17-2013
« on: April 17, 2013, 0345 UTC »
0343Z, starting to hear music, I believe it's Naked Eyes - Promises Promises.
0344Z, The Cure - Friday I'm In Love. It's not an easy signal to hear.
0346Z, Til Tuesday - Voices Carry. Signal is up to S5 with static crashes in and around S4.
0351Z, Simple Minds - Don't You Forget About Me (sounds like a live copy).
0357Z, RML ID.
0400Z, Peter Gabriel - In Your Eyes.
0405Z, Song was cut short, into RML ID, talking about being on deck with the "computer apparatus".
0406Z, shout outs to me and b.e.! Thanks RML.
0411Z, now playing New Order - Blue Monday. Signal up to S7.
0418Z, RML ID. More shout outs.
0422Z, Duran Duran - Hungry Like A Wolf.
0425Z, Billy Idol - Rebel Yell.
0428Z, static is killing RML while he is talking. I heard him give a shout out to glimmer twin. I believe he said he is cutting the show short tonight.
0433Z, Talking Heads - Burning Down The House.
0438Z, RML advising he has a long day tomorrow.
0439Z, Off the air.

The music style sounds like RML but the audio doesn't sound at all like him, unless he is experimenting with new equipment.
Good call b.e., You were right, I was wrong, RML ID at 0357Z.

It's the way the end of the song cuts out that seems pretty unique to RML, plus he's always strong into my QTH.

He said he IS testing some new equipment. Good ears.

He is to me as well. Almost every time he is on but I have a storm nearby or something. The static crashes are wreaking havoc.

0431z ID, Out on deck having a good time (Spike has served some iced tea).
0433z Talking Heads - Burning Down the House
0439z Off, thanks for the late show...

Cool. Burning Down the House. One of my first favorite 80's songs. Thanks for the show, Red Mercury!

Nice copy here, was listening while working in the shop. Caught Billy Idol and The Fixx as well as comments on propagation and shout-outs to listeners. Terrific to hear you!
