SIO 433. Usual great sounding audio. Hearing a bit of that ute that others mention, but not a big problem. Slow fades.

0202z - X-FM ID, then into MGMT - Electric Feel
0206z - Alphaville - Big In Japan
0343z - Beach Weather - Sex, Drugs, Etc. Still SIO 433

Nice S-9  signal in Crooked River, OR. The hiss from the ute or whatever it was below you on the Kiwi's back east isn't apparent out here. If I hadn't seen the log and recognized your voice I wouldn't have been able to id you back East.

You don't have Siouxie and The Banshees cover of "The Passenger" do you?

0141 First try: "My Culture" - 1 Giant Leap & Robbie Williams, few indistinct words, Unknown song, ID, "Sulfur" - Slipknot, Redhat with ID and talk over music - between rushing QSB and music was very hard to understand … shout outs, prepared ID, "Lost" - Linkin Park.  Tuned away although program was good, conditions were poor.

0225 Tried again.  Much better conditions.  Signal now S 8 - 9.  0225 ID, into a program of music ... Redhat talks about how broadcasting is one of his ways of being away from life's streses.  Another is being in "the middle of nowhere" and what that is like for him, ID, soliciting reports via HFU or email, prepared ID, "Surrender".  Still listening at 0311, so I'm also still out here.

Thanks for the program.

Really sounding good now. I went west to get away from that hiss, I'm shocked at how good you're propagating out west this low on the band. When the tx is over go poke fun at the hams in the AM window.

Thanks for "The Passenger" Siouxsie has a helluva voice and wasn't too hard on the eyes in her time. Much easier to look at than Iggy.

"Time" Pink Floyd. I witnessed a very stoned friend riding shotgun fling the cassette out the car window when the alarm clocks went off. Ahh, the mid-70's!

4185 AM
0420 UTC: Signal peaked just enough to copy XFM ID. Music, signal faded, can't ID song.
0525 UTC: Shout-outs to listeners logging. Signal still barely peaking above noise now and then, hearing unfamiliar music, not enough to ID anything.

4185 khz, fair signal with steady noise at 0415z, with music I mostly can't identify so far, in western NY.
I'm late to this party, but here's what I am hearing:

0417 Male announcer, UTC time-check
0418 "... there's something about that song ... the one that got away ..."
0419 "... Southern California, kind of 'orangy' ... "
0421 "... on X-FM", music follows
0428 "Broadcasting in C-Quam Stereo  ... to the world; this is X-FM"
0433 Song "Where Do We Go From Here". not sure of artist
0444 "... sit on the porch and drink a beer ... don't get riled up ..."
0445 "...being heard in Maui ... I was talking with Ball Smacker Radio ..."
0447 Music from Everything But the Girl "Nothing Left to Lose"
0451 "Broadcasting in C-Quam Stereo ... X-FM"
0457 "This is X-FM"
0501  Announcer mentions "Jim Renfrew" and "AlleyCat" from Binghamton (thanks for the callout, Mr. Operator)

pse qsl: jim.renfrew(at)gmail.com
Redhat verifield my report by e-mail. Thanks!
