Boom Box Radio 6925 AM 1553 UTC 28 Apr 2013
« on: April 28, 2013, 1607 UTC »
Fairly weak signal, signed on into music. About an S3 signal. Very tough even with the low noise levels, and there are some deep fades.

Partial ID "You're listening to ... Radio" 1604z, mention of QSL card. It sounded like Boom Box Radio, but tough to tell.

Back into music.

Another ID at 1609. Sounded like Boom Box Radio again, so that is what I am going with.

1612: Paul Simon "Call Me Al".

S3 signal into Ohio this afternoon. Deep fading so hard to copy reliably here. Thanks for the show!
Location: NE Ohio

Positive ID and QSL information at 1631 UTC by computer voice. Then into the XX, I believe. Highly variably signal, between S3 and S9.
