I've been hearing firedrake on 13795 around this time (12:00-13:00) via Twente. seemingly gone today though.

5-17-2013  CNR 1 broadcast  13:40 - 13:50 utc
CNR 1  14400 khz
CNR 1  14750 khz
CNR 1 over VOA (Thialand) 15115 khz

All were good S9  S9 +10 signals that started to fade after 14:00 utc

I really appreciate these post - helps me find these interesting broadcast.
I still have yet to hear / identify the "Firedrake" type jamming signal but the CNR over
the VOA Chinese language broadcast was rather obvious this morning.

Did anybody else hear CNR or Sound of Hope on 15390 this morning, specifically 1600Z+?  I had someone there, fair signal, but couldn't tell if it was CNR or SOH.  Hoping it was the latter, as it sounded much mellower than CNR ever has.  No loud fast-paced talk; much gentler chat from a male presenter, along with what sounded like Asian ballads.  Was this Sound of Hope, or could that have been the jammer again?

skeezix, Firedrake is still on but very little compared to a month ago.  For example right now (1350z, 19 May, 2013) I can find it in only one place, 13795 kHz.  While CNR1 is on 13850, 13920, 13970, 14700, 14750, 14980, 15115, 15195, 15900, 16360, and 16920 kHz.  And all of these outlets went off air at the top of the hour, 1400z.

It looks like Firedrake still exist, but that CNR1 has taken over almost all of the old Firedrake slots.  And it has been that way since about 19 April, 2013.

Tuned in this morning around 1235Z to 13920 and heard CNR1. Didn't hear anything on 13970, 13820 nor 13850. Didn't check beyond that.

CNR1 is lame and boring. Firedrake at least was a curiosity and somehow passed the time better during my commute.

If you find the Firedrake, can you post where they're hanging out as of late?

I should write and complain.
