1934 hearing the closing strains of the overture to Tannhäuser, followed by OM who's voice is rather buried in the noise so not sure what he's talking about. This is supposed to be VOA Flashpoint Ukraine per WRMI's schedule grid. Into music featuring a prominent solo cello, but can't tell if it's a chamber piece or orchestral.

EDIT: scrolling down further on the WRMI chart reveals that VOA Flashpoint Ukraine is only M-F. Sundays is reserved for a program called "Music and Medicine." Signal is still variable, but never better than SIO 222. This transmitter strangely (given my QTH in Denver and their beam to Europe) comes in well in the winter, but is more predictably a tougher copy in the sunnier months. This is definitely more par for the course for the latter conditions.

Very Good reception, English service.

1957 Dr. Werne explains his love of classical music but also of The Beatles for their compositions and plays "Yesterday"

I had thought program would feature stories on how the two subjects (Music & Medicine) have been combined as part of medical intervention and therapy. I know several folks at Cleveland Clinic involved in the endeavor.
