Den Helder Naval (Netherlands) 6358.5 (CF) RTTY 00:30 UTC 27 MAR 2023

00:30 UTC - Dutch Navy Den Helder Naval PBB, weak barely readable with an RTTY ID loop. The signal is currently too weak into my location for a proper decode; Shift: 850 Baud: 75.

I did manage to partially decode from the RTTY transmission: 08B 12A

Known loop message is:
02A 04B 06A 08B 12A 16X 22X
02A 04B 06A 08B 12A 16X 22X PBB

Hi Sigint.

...

Known loop message is:
02A 04B 06A 08B 12A 16X 22X
02A 04B 06A 08B 12A 16X 22X PBB

...

That is not that correct. This "loop" depends on what frequencies are activated and monitored for comms by PBB. As there are no units at see Den Helder will reduce watch and that will refelct in its CARB (Channel Availability and Receipt Broadcast).

Hope this helps.

Thank you for the info Thomas. I will watch for that message string. It is a long distance for those radio waves to travel from the Netherlands to N.E. Canada and is all dependent on propagation. I receive DWD on a fairly consistent basis and will now add PBB to my "watch list".
