Has anyone ever caught the SW pirate "Voice of Hell"?
« on: July 30, 2013, 1531 UTC »
I was going through the list of SW pirate of HFU'S wiki site and came across the voice of hell. Has any one ever heard it or have recordings of it? It sounds like of the more creepier pirates.

A few times. It might be scary if you were say, eight or nine, but it is different.

Do you know how long it's been since they've been on?

No I don't. I rarely log stations.

You used to hear it around Halloween, but those could have been relays of old shows.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I recall hearing them at least once.

If you want scary, I think there was a station that played just Belinda Carlisle on a few years ago. Not for the faint of heart.

I've heard a few variations of Voice of Hell, Satan Radio, 666 Radio and others.  Some of those programs used the same or similar audio clips and remixes so I'm not sure whether they were the same op/programmer or different ops/programmers using similar material.

I heard that radios that received it would emanate a golden glow, and the angels would proclaim "Heaven On Earth" to all of those who were listening. It was probably one of the best stations in pirate radio history.

I'm not sure if this is the same show that Sealord linked above (I don't have audio on this computer) but here's another mp3:

If this was either recorded by or produced by Trummel, then it has to be pretty old. He died in 2001.
