Radio True North @ 6925/6930 kHz 0340 UTC
« on: August 05, 2013, 0347 UTC »
Caught RTN at 7925 kHz, 0340, duringthe middle and end of Talk Talk's It's My Life, followed by a female callsign identifying as Radio True North.  Faint, but getting stronger, here as the sunset goes.

S4-5 right now.  Nice to hear from you!

Carrier originally heard long before proper signal came in. :)

Around 0345, heard The Voice, Moody Blues

0350, Face to Face, Pete Towsend

0355, Numbers and Computer World, Kraftwerk, Minmax version?  Signal now around S7

0402 Moved to 6930 khz

I think its just conditions.  The k index is 5.  Hope it comes down some.  But then sometimes you get weird conditions.  Noticed my signal down into a few other web receivers.

Last song I got.  Anyone know what the male, synthpop sounding song after Kraftwerk and before Supertramp was?

SDR catch, noted at 0303 sign on on 6925, weak signal but low noise levels, so not too bad.
Switched to 6930 at 0400.
