Northwoods Radio on 6935 USB (S9) and 6950 AM (S5).  Peskies on the LSB side of 6950 and heavy thunderstrorm static not making copy there any easier.

0040z Northwoods ID
0051z ID from Jackpine Savage (partying with some non-alcoholic Busch beer, rock on....)

0108z 6950 has come up to S7 (bad, nationwide) sounds good, 6935 S9+ sounds kinda harsh

6935 is fairly strong here with fair audio.  6950 started weak then faded way up then almost faded out completely.  Program details same as others above.

'Ride On' by ACDC @ 0114z, great song - thanks for the show!

SSTV after they came back on.... first try had a technical problem.

6935u // 6950am, both sounding good here at 0052z.

6935u = S8-S9
6950am = S7 (audio sounding nice and clear on this one despite peskies on the LSB)

Thanks for the show, and sorry you smoked the Corsair :(

Not sure if this is helpful, but here's a shot of the abrupt sign-off at 0144z.  Looks like the 6950 SSTV was really pushing the envelope:

S9+ here. Decent audio. Still some noise from the storms that went through here.

Part of the SSTV was transmitted, then stopped. Heard test, test, sorry about that, think we blew the main transmitter.

Hope not.

Thanks for the show

0122Z 45444 S5 Black Sabbath "Fairies Wear Boots"

0242Z 45444 S5 ID.
0242Z 45444 S5 SSTV

//6950 AM:
0008Z 35333 S5 Heavy QRM. Other stations underneath (pesky + ?).
0035Z 35333 S5 Peskies went away a while back and now the freq is clear. While the audio appears to be lower here than on 6935, the fidelity is better.

Just tuned through the band & heard nice signals on 6935 USB & 6950 AM. Figured out that they were both Northwoods & came to HFU. 6935 is a bit better here. Started recording at 0107 with Jack Pine Savage talking a little & into "Nationwide" by ZZ Top. Now intro for AC/DC

Thanks much for the show!
