Northwoods Radio 6935 USB 1214+29 Sept 2013
« on: September 29, 2013, 1223 UTC »
On at tune in.  Thus far playing what seems to be traditional American Indian / Native American music.   Sounded like tribal dance music at 1214.  Now pan flute with drum and bird sounds at 1219.

Very strong, clean, stable signal.

Good signal here also, soothing native american type music @ 1247z.  Occasional shallow fades, but very good copy.
CW ID @ 1310z then Jack Pine Savage greeting the HFU posters.  Thanks for the show!

Recorder/Live Catch on 6935USB

Been listening for the last ten minutes here, and very nice S8 signal here.  0052 ID and addy, and back to relaxing music.  Always interesting musical selections from NWR; thanks!

1310 Loons, ID, CW.  Jackpine Savage on live.  Ment previous program was a 2006 production "Native Autumn".  Shouts to HFU posters (TY!), and sez he's gonna keep it going with a 2009 show.  Very cool guitar music.

1335 Loons, ID by YL, and back to music.  Signal is experiencing some deep fading now.

1358 off

Have Northwoods Radio here at 1300z. Signal is only just above the noise floor but I can clearly hear Native American chanting. Now I can here a pan flute at 1304z.

Northwoods Radio is just above the noise floor here with slight fading. About S3 on peaks, 15442. Guitar instrumental music since I tuned in.

1336z - Loon calls, female NWR ID. Back into guitar instrumental music.
1355z - some nice upswings to S7
1358z - ID, Loon call, CW 73, then off.

Great to hear you NWR.
