SDR recording catch. I logged it first in Other, as I am not sure it is a pirate. But Token mentioned that PPVR has been heard with these same sounds. So here it is.

I was hearing this last night. Honestly wasn't expecting it so it was pretty damn creepy. But we are nearing Halloween so the pirates are gearing up to really do some real pirating! Its only getting weirder from here.

Also heard here with fair to good signal 0335-0340z after the band quieted down a bit.

Nothing to be askeered of, atrain.  It has been conjectured that this is a bird call slowed down 16X, and I agree.  Try speeding this up a bit and see what you hear.
