some moderate dx here in south jersey
« on: October 16, 2013, 0051 UTC »
Odd to receive dx in late october but I am copying some dx on 90.7 and 91.9 and 92.1 (over-riding distant but clear WVLT). Anyone else got any.DX?
Lots more coming in now! 98.7 - 96.7 (WCEI) 95.9 rap which I believe is from ocean city md (110 miles away)- now classic rock is covering up the rap station- no idea where that's coming from. 95.3 from Salisbury md (125 miles from me) 94.9 country from Harrisburg pa ( 95 miles from me) 104.7 classic hits from NYC (90 miles from me) 105.9 talk from Lewes de 90 miles from me 106.3 alternative from cape may nj low power only 1,500 watts (60 miles from me) 107.7 country from Gettysburg pa 130 miles away!

This is rare to have such good dx in late October . Most of these I have not been able to get call signs yet but will work to get them soon. This is why I still live my tecsun pl 380 even though I have the grundig 750. The fm station separation and filtering is amazing! I can listen to a weak station right next to a booming local with no problem! It's a must have for avid fm dx'ers like me. And it's also amazing with mw dx'ing as well!
