Ohnoz! Voice of Revolutionary Vinco archive is gone
« on: July 15, 2024, 1731 UTC »
For many years we have been able to enjoy a smattering of VoRV recordings at http://www.bunkerofdoom.com/vorv/index.html, but I just checked today and the domain is suspended for lack of payment.  I don't think this content is available anywhere else, so I'm hoping whoever owns that domain will get it resolved or post the content somewhere else.  I haven't learned the past subjective gerund in Vinconian yet!
Big into SWDX late 70s through early 90s, then forgot about it and when I returned via SDRs it wasn't at all what I remembered, but I'll deal with it. Grumble, grumble. All SDRs acknowledged, nothing is from my own radio.

Yay, thanks! I did see the Wayback version at the time but assumed the MP3 links wouldn't work...they do!

Probably be a good idea to download the recordings while you can. I did that several years ago with all the KIPM shows on New York International's site which I think also disappeared at least for a while. You can't rely on personal websites to be there for more than a few years. There's tons of stuff from back in the day (mostly personal blogs from before the rise of social media) that I can't find anymore, even with archival websites.
