click the map & check out those 6 photos. Neat!

I just checked the monthly weather channel forcast for my area & we're suppose to continue this high pressure with the fog! Maybe the shutting down of HAARP is responsible.

We were told of the shutdown of HAARP. Yet, its not really being shutdown.

We were also told that LORAN-C was shutdown in Feb 2010. Yet, there have been recent tests of the LORAN transmitters.

LORAN is back on now.

No, really, it is. I have two stations on the Great Lakes chain, at 1205z.

Never say never... ;-)

Perhaps it has out lived its usefulness but maybe they are catching up on the data OR they have found another 'can' to kick... who knows...?

I remember, all too well, when the OTHR in Moscow, Maine was shut down... Being I lived in the shadow of the thing I didn't believe it so I went up there... Sure enough there were NO guards to escort me out and I finally got info that said one of the local NDN tribes were trying to buy at the site to put up a wind power generation station...

So all was fine in the world RIGHT?  Nope because the sister station at Cumberland Falls, Maine is still in operation... hmmmm...  the Transmission station is shut down but the receive end is still operational??? What's with that?

Just to add to this I remember that the Cumberland Falls station is just a few miles North of NAA The Navy nuke submarine comm site...  Did the AF transfer the Cumbie site to the Navy?  Some how that doesn't make sense to me...

The Cumberland Falls site makes one hell of a listening post... there are at least 4 massive curtain arrays up there and the entire site could well be the envy of any one into SW DX...  The old Moscow site antenna system is just WOW!  Four sites with the massive curtain antennas... Sure as hell would have liked to hook up my Yaesu to that mess...  oh well... so much for my rambling sorry...  broken dreams ;-)  4 @ mile long array... <sigh>

The CIA made a mistake. They wanted it to snow in Miami Florida, and did Ohio instead.

Get ready for political instability, and regime change in Miami County.

Stock up on cheese and crackers, gold bullion, and fishing lures before it's too late.

I'm headed for the storm shelter, now.

God bless.
