6950 USB

Fair signal - station came on immediately after TCR left the air @ 23:59z.  Op has been on the mic a couple of times, but haven't been able to catch an ID yet.  Definitely need to go back & listen to the recording again.

00:02z "..Hello radio land (?)...this is (?), the shortwave radio land(lab?) my friends...we're popping a little bit of popcorn tonight...(?)...anybody out there in radio land, are ya ready for a ride?.."
00:17z "..that's right radio land...hope that the signal makes it out there...we'll just have to find out!.."
00:25z unknown song w/male singer - makes me think of Dread Zeppelin, but I don't think it's them
00:39z Op on the mic again, but can't make out what he's saying
01:00z signal has come up some
01:17z can hear a female voice
01:20z music/sound effects
01:25z faded out or off

0036 UTC Unid dark ballad by an OM singer (S8 peaks here with a bit of flutter to the signal)
0039 UTC OM speaking..."We got some technical difficulties"...followed by unid easy listening ballad-OM singer
0040 UTC OM spoke mid song..."we're going out to check the antenna on air", then back to the dirge like ballad
0043 UTC Another dark mournful tune...indie gothic?

Tuned in at 0035 on Brookfield WI sdr with fair/good S9-S9+10 signal, slightly distorted audio, slow hard rock music, at 0039 DJ came on air saying there were technical difficulties then played more mournful rock music, off at 0126.

Signal is decent into Long Island NY, between S7 and S9, sometimes stronger. Audio quality can be described as a bit hollow here, almost as if there is some sort of artificial echo in line with the audio system. This is making it difficult to understand at times or to pick out the songs.
Unless noted otherwise, all reports are direct from my location on Long Island NY.
