Swamp Fox Net 7003 LSB 0000 UTC 22 NOV 2024
« on: November 22, 2024, 0003 UTC »
Good signals at Raleigh, NC. Started here because of QRM on 7000, no moving announcement heard. One station said his location is Aberdeen, North Carolina. Talked about data protocol development. One guy signed off at 0005 for dinner. Someone said they were going to send a picture to the group. Strong CW at 0009 UTC. Signed off at 0011 UTC to “let data come through”.

Songs are identified with Shazam if needed. I usually use KiwiSDR receivers. Reception from my QTH is using an SDRPlay RSP1A with a 40 meter band Inverted V at 40 feet.

Last night at 0000 UTC I was unable to hear the Swamp Fox Net. 7000 LSB was in use by the Mexican Peskies and above 7000 was filled with the CW contest activity. I suspect the net didn't run or moved to a frequency away from 43 meters.
