More New Frequency Allocations
« on: November 09, 2013, 2115 UTC »
During Nov 7 and 8, I discovered more new frequency operations for the international broadcasters ….. and I'm sure that there are many more still waiting out there for me!   ;D  There are several other observations that may be of interest as well.

In addition to the logs posted at the MEDXR Blog above are the following noted today:

15260   IRAN.  VOIRI - Sirjan. Swahili at 0445 to EAf, a fair signal that went suddenly off at 0449. NF but not sure whether this is ex 13750 (via Sirjan) or 15340 (via Kamalabad). Nov 10.

17640   CHINA.  CRI - Xian. Russian to CAs at 0410, NF and I believe this is replacing 15425, also Xian. Fair to poor signal but also runs // 15445 which is much stronger here, Nov 10.

17725   CHINA. CRI - Xian. English to CAs at 0415, a small NF ex 17730, fair to poor signal on Nov 10. Also runs // 17855 via Beijing but this was no better strength. Best frequency by far was the // 15120 kHz.

17860   PHILIPPINES.  VOA - Tinang. Tibetan service at 0420, NF and only light jamming on this occasion, Nov 10.
