Radio True North 6940 AM 0048Z
« on: November 16, 2013, 0051 UTC »
Very strong AM signal now playing Copperhead Road at 0450Z. No ID yet but I suspect it's Radio True North. Peaking almost S9+20 db here on the west coast.
0057Z Sounds like he's having technical difficulties...audio keeps dropping out..
0103Z Radio True North ID...having a few technical difficulties...Sting, Roxanne

Fair signal here on 6940 too.   Looks like a busy night on the pirate bands ???

Just a few days to the 50th Anniversary of the JFK Assassination - so hopefully we'll also hear from the JFK Tribute station soon too,

SINPO

Its nice and legible when not faded out.  I assume this is Radio True North that is still playing on this frequency.  Thanks! My mom was interested so she is listening. I like the song at 04:20 but I don't know the name. I'm not good with names.

I can't wait for some international!

I'm 95% sure I heard an ID, "Offshore Radio."

I'm doing a relay now for CoolAM.  I love the fact he has a section on JFK.  He was a good man who believed in what was right.  I think somebody else mentioned it was a few days before the anniversary.  Hope your enjoying the show....Its been fun despite the technical difficulties earlier....

Heard with a pretty strong signal with some fades that caused the synch detector to unlock on my PL660 (which recently recovered from a cat pee incident). I tuned in just in time to catch the sign off at about 4:32z.

Or maybe I just lost him on my barefoot dog walking portable.....
